| a couple years ago when the new(now old) passion cd came out, there were some very mixed reviews. I remember one of the songs that was more or less disliked/not favored by most people was written by Chris Tomlin. It was called Party, and there was a general consensus that it was whimsical, not really serious, not that great of a worship song, and all in all kind of weird.
However, I can't really think of a better song to express my sentiments today. It's Easter!!!! Today's the day that we remember the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today is the culmination of the entire passion week, the final moment in God's redemptive plan, the pinnacle of all God has planned. It is because of today that we have life, hope for salvation, freedom from sin, and victory over the grave! What better way to express this sense of excitement, celebration, elation, and joy, then "We're gonna paaaaaarrtttty!!!!!!"

| i always seem to be at a loss for words when it comes to putting my thoughts to words...
another year has come... a little older, a little wiser... haha, only if a little wiser means a little better at seeing how much i really need the grace of God. So many blessings this year... many regrets, but still, God is faithful. may i never forget that. Prayer for the year: that He would be my source of joy...
but even so! i am happy! and content! haha, just reread the other paragraph, seems so gloomy. Despite life's up's and downs, I'm grateful for everything God has blessed me with... so many good memories this year.

| haha, one of the reasons i love living at FAR is that the required bus ride to get to and from class gives me a couple minutes to just stand and think. found another gem of a song on my ipod that i didn't know about today.
